1. Introduction

Blue Bridge People (“Blue Bridge People,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is a workforce solutions and talent partner providing IT and engineering staffing, executive search, global talent solutions, and business consulting. We respect your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you visit our website at www.bluebridgepeople.com (the “Site”), apply for or inquire about a role, engage us as a client, or otherwise interact with us, and how we use, share, and protect that information. It also describes the privacy rights available to you under Ohio, Indiana, Kentucky, California, and other applicable U.S. laws.

By using our Site or services, you agree to the practices described in this Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site or submit information to us.

2. Who This Policy Covers

Because we are a talent and workforce partner, we handle information about several groups:

  • Website visitors who browse the Site or submit our contact form.
  • Candidates and job seekers who apply, submit a résumé, join our talent network, or are sourced by us for opportunities.
  • Client and business contacts at organizations that engage us or that we engage on behalf of candidates.

This Policy applies to all three. Some sections apply mainly to candidates (for example, Sections 3.2 and 9).

3. Information We Collect

3.1 Information From Website Visitors

When you submit our contact form or otherwise reach out, we collect the information you provide, including your name, email address, phone number, the nature of your inquiry (for example, looking for a job, looking for talent, looking to partner, or professional development), and any details in your message.

3.2 Information From Candidates and Job Seekers

To provide recruiting and placement services, we may collect:

  • Contact and profile information — name, email, phone, mailing address, and links to professional profiles (such as LinkedIn).
  • Résumé and career information — work history, education, skills, certifications, licenses, portfolios, salary expectations, and job preferences.
  • References — information you or your references provide.
  • Eligibility and screening information — work authorization and employment eligibility, and, where necessary and permitted by law for a specific opportunity or placement, government-issued identifiers, background-check and screening results, and similar onboarding data.
  • Assignment information — details related to placements, assignments, or engagements we facilitate.

We collect this information directly from you and, where permitted, from sources such as job boards, professional networking sites, referrals, references, and screening providers engaged for a specific role.

We only collect sensitive information (such as government identifiers or background-check results) when it is needed for a specific placement, onboarding, or legal-compliance purpose, and we handle it in accordance with applicable law.

3.3 Information From Clients and Business Contacts

For organizations that engage us, we collect business contact details such as name, title, company, email, and phone number, along with information needed to understand the roles and workforce needs you ask us to fill.

3.4 Information Collected Automatically

When you visit the Site, certain information is collected automatically through cookies, pixels, tags, and similar technologies, including your IP address, device and browser type, operating system, referring and exit pages, pages viewed, links clicked, approximate location derived from IP address, and dates and times of visits. See Section 6 for the specific technologies we use.

3.5 Categories of Personal Information (for California residents)

For purposes of the California Consumer Privacy Act, in the past 12 months we have collected the following statutory categories: identifiers (name, address, email, phone, IP address); customer/candidate records; professional or employment information (résumé, work history, references, eligibility); education information; commercial information (services requested or provided); internet or network activity (browsing and interaction data); geolocation data (approximate, from IP address); and, where needed for a specific placement, sensitive personal information such as government identifiers. We collect sensitive personal information only for permitted business purposes and do not use or disclose it for purposes that would require an opt-out under California law.

4. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Respond to inquiries and provide information about our services
  • Evaluate candidates and match them with suitable roles and opportunities
  • Present qualified candidates to prospective employers (our clients)
  • Facilitate interviews, offers, onboarding, placements, and assignments
  • Perform or arrange references, work-eligibility verification, and background screening where appropriate for a specific role
  • Provide consulting, enterprise, engineering, and workforce services to clients
  • Send communications, including by text message, related to applications, opportunities, and services (see Section 7)
  • Operate, maintain, secure, and improve our Site
  • Measure and improve our marketing and advertising
  • Detect and prevent fraud, spam, and abuse
  • Comply with legal obligations and enforce our agreements

5. Cookies and Similar Technologies

We and our service providers use cookies, web beacons, pixels, and tags to run the Site, remember your preferences, measure traffic, and support advertising. You can control cookies through your browser settings; blocking some cookies may affect how the Site functions.

Where required by law, we honor recognized opt-out preference signals, including the Global Privacy Control (GPC), transmitted by your browser or device.

6. Analytics and Advertising

We work with third-party analytics and advertising providers that collect information about your use of the Site and your activity across other sites and apps over time. These may include:

  • Google (Google Analytics, Google Ads, and Google Tag Manager) — website analytics and advertising measurement. You can opt out of Google Analytics using Google’s browser add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
  • Meta (Facebook) Pixel — advertising measurement and audience targeting on Meta platforms.
  • LinkedIn — advertising and conversion-measurement technologies (such as the LinkedIn Insight Tag), where used, given the professional nature of our services.
  • Other analytics, advertising, and lead-generation partners we may use from time to time.

“Sale” and “sharing” for targeted advertising. Some of this activity — such as the use of advertising cookies and pixels that share identifiers and browsing information with Google, Meta, or LinkedIn for cross-context behavioral advertising — may be considered a “sale” or “sharing” of personal information under California law and certain other state privacy laws, even though we do not receive money for it. You have the right to opt out of this activity. See Section 12 for how to exercise that right, and note that we honor the Global Privacy Control signal described in Section 5.

7. SMS Communications and Mobile Information

This section describes how we handle mobile phone numbers and text (SMS/MMS) messaging.

  • Collection and consent. We may collect your mobile phone number and SMS messaging consent when you provide it to us verbally, in person, by phone, through a form on our Site, when you apply or submit your résumé, or through another approved opt-in method. Providing your number and consent is not a condition of applying for any role or using our services.
  • How we use it. We use this information to send messages related to your interactions with us, which may include application and candidacy updates, job and opportunity notifications, interview scheduling and reminders, onboarding and assignment updates, and other communications related to services or opportunities you request from us.
  • Message frequency. Message frequency varies based on your interactions with us and the opportunities or services involved.
  • Rates. Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile carrier and plan.
  • No sharing or sale of mobile data. We do not sell, rent, or share mobile phone numbers, SMS opt-in data, or SMS consent status with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent are not shared with any third parties for marketing purposes, and are excluded from any other sharing described in this Policy. SMS consent information is used only to support our communications with you and to comply with applicable messaging requirements. We may share your number with a technology vendor (such as our messaging platform provider) strictly to deliver messages on our behalf.
  • Opting out. You may opt out of SMS communications at any time by replying STOP to any text message from us. After you reply STOP, we may send one confirmation message acknowledging your opt-out.
  • Help. You may request assistance at any time by replying HELP, or by contacting us at (513) 718-4030.
  • Delivery. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

8. Payment Processing

Where we collect payment from you online (for example, for professional-development programs or consulting services, if offered), payments are processed by a third-party payment provider, such as Stripe. Your card and payment details are collected and processed by that provider under its own terms and privacy policy, and we do not store full payment card numbers on our own systems. (If Blue Bridge People does not process payments through the Site, this section may be removed.)

9. How We Share Information

We share personal information only as described below. We do not sell your personal information for money. (Certain advertising-related “sales” or “sharing” as defined under state privacy law are addressed in Section 6, and your opt-out rights are described in Section 12.)

We may share information with:

  • Prospective employers and clients. As a core part of our recruiting service, we share candidate information — such as your résumé, qualifications, and relevant profile details — with organizations considering you for a role, so that we can present you for opportunities. We share only what is appropriate for the opportunity.
  • Screening and reference providers. Background-check, work-eligibility, assessment, and reference-checking providers engaged for a specific role, where permitted by law.
  • Service providers and vendors who perform services on our behalf — applicant tracking and CRM systems, hosting, IT support, payment processing, messaging, analytics, and advertising measurement — and who are contractually limited to using it for those purposes.
  • Legal and safety recipients — to comply with law, respond to lawful requests, enforce our agreements, or protect the rights, property, or safety of our candidates, clients, team, or the public.
  • In a business transfer — if we are involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to this Policy.

As noted in Section 7, mobile opt-in and SMS consent data are never shared for third-party or affiliate marketing purposes.

10. Candidate Talent Network and Retention

If you apply or submit your information, we may keep your profile in our talent network so we can consider you for current and future opportunities, unless you ask us to remove it. You may ask us to update or remove your information at any time using the contact details in Section 16, subject to any records we are required to keep by law.

We retain personal information for as long as needed to provide our services, maintain candidate and client relationships, comply with our legal, tax, and recordkeeping obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. When information is no longer needed, we take reasonable steps to delete or de-identify it.

11. Data Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

12. Your Privacy Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have some or all of the rights below. We extend the core rights described here to individuals in all U.S. states, regardless of whether a specific state law technically applies to us.

You may have the right to:

  • Know / Access — request confirmation of whether we process your personal information and obtain a copy of it.
  • Correct — request correction of inaccurate personal information.
  • Delete — request deletion of personal information we have collected from you, subject to legal exceptions.
  • Data portability — obtain a copy of certain information in a portable format.
  • Opt out of targeted advertising and the “sale” or “sharing” of your personal information (see Section 6).
  • Opt out of profiling in furtherance of decisions producing legal or similarly significant effects (we do not currently engage in such profiling).
  • Non-discrimination — you will not receive discriminatory treatment for exercising your privacy rights.

California Residents (CCPA/CPRA)

California residents — including job applicants, candidates, and business contacts — have the rights above, plus the right to know the categories of personal information collected, the sources, the purposes for collecting it, and the categories of third parties with whom it is shared (all described in this Policy). You may also limit the use of sensitive personal information; we use sensitive personal information only for permitted business purposes. You may designate an authorized agent to submit requests on your behalf, and we will honor Global Privacy Control signals as a valid request to opt out of sale/sharing.

Indiana, Kentucky, and Other State Residents

Indiana’s Consumer Data Protection Act (ICDPA) and Kentucky’s Consumer Data Protection Act (KCDPA), both effective January 1, 2026, generally apply to individuals acting in a personal or household context and exclude personal data processed in an employment or commercial (business-to-business) context. As a result, much of the candidate and client-contact information we handle falls outside those two laws, though we still honor the core rights above where applicable. Where these laws do apply and we deny a request, you may appeal using the contact details in Section 16; if your appeal is denied, you may submit a complaint to your state Attorney General:

  • Indiana Attorney General: www.in.gov/attorneygeneral
  • Kentucky Attorney General (Office of Consumer Protection): www.ag.ky.gov

How to Exercise Your Rights

Submit a request by:

  • Phone: (513) 718-4030
  • Email: [email protected]
  • Mail: Blue Bridge People, Attn: Privacy, 5887 Cornell Rd., Suite 2, Cincinnati, OH 45242

We will verify your identity before fulfilling a request and will respond within the time period required by applicable law (generally 45 days, extendable where permitted). There is no charge for a reasonable request.

13. International Data Transfers

We are based in the United States, and we process and store information in the U.S. If you are located outside the United States — including candidates in our global talent network — your information may be transferred to, stored in, and processed in the United States, where data protection laws may differ from those in your country. Where required, we take steps to protect your information consistent with applicable law. If you are located in a region with specific data-protection rights (such as the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom), you may have additional rights under your local law; contact us to learn more.

14. Children’s Privacy

Our Site and services are intended for adults and are not directed to children under 13 (or under 16 where applicable). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us and we will delete it.

15. Third-Party Links and Changes to This Policy

Our Site may link to third-party websites, including job boards, professional networks, and social media. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites, and we encourage you to review their policies.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last Updated” date above and post the updated version on this page. Your continued use of the Site after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.
